Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, I've been a Westerner all my life, having lived all over the Rocky Mountain Region. I've been in Colorado since 1990. Prior to my career in Real Estate, I worked for 20 years as a Research Engineer specializing in advanced materials. My degrees include a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). I have written over 20 technical articles, papers, and conference presentations, and was recently awarded a patent for a new ceramic material which I developed. My hobbies include soaring (flying gliders), scuba diving, and skiing. I finally migrated to the Real Estate profession full time after having been very active in the business my whole life. I own a small Real Estate Investment Company, and am very excited to work with people who share my enthusiasm for real estate.
I have been active in numerous volunteer positions in Boulder. I was an Odyssey of the Mind coach for seven years, and an Assisstant Scout Master for another seven. Currently I am on the Board of Trustees for the Boulder County Mental Health Foundation.
I am currently working in all aspects of real estate, including Commercial, Residential, and Investments. I am a member of the National Council of Exchangers and Mile High Exchangers. These organizations promote Client Counseling based real estate services, including trades and exchanges of commercial, residential, and investment properties. I am currently working towards a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation.
